FAQs
Do I get an official certification for this course?
Yes! You will obtain Heart & Stroke Foundation CPR-C certification and electronic card that can be printed.
The certificate is valid for the usual 12 month period.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
League members must have a valid/current membership # to qualify for discounted rate.
Generally, minimum age is 14 years old but mature youth under this age are welcome.

Are there physical health requirements?
Generally, CPR can be learned by most people regardless of physical health. However, you may be required to kneel for periods of time, and to provide practice chest compression on a training device. There is a short written test at the end. Please bring any personal-support items necessary for these skills and connect with us if you have concerns or specific questions.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, your name will be give to the course instructor and you can check-in verbally on arrival.

If I have a membership to a different community league other than Oak Hills or Yellowbird, do I get a discount?
We welcome everyone to join in the training, however the lower price is offered only to OHCL and YBCL members since these leagues are funding the program. The non-member fee is still discounted from a typical CPR course, but not as heavily for external attendees.
